Crisis 2008

"I believe that globalisation -the removal of barriers to free trade and the closer integration of national economies- can be a force for good and that it has the potential to enrich everyone in the world, particularly the poor."
- Joseph E. Stiglitz -

Today, we know that everyone has lot of questions, headaches, fears about the stock market crash of 2008. It creates a serious and strong impact on business, firms, and particularly on people which means: individuals, families and children.

This month, I have a new Expert and someone special from Cameroon on Fragrance Diva network. She's a specialist in economy and finance, she's my mother: Dr. Esther Belibi Dang.

Things you never heard about Cameroon (low growth rate, PAS).
Relevant opinions about International institutions, International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank, and governments policies...

Esther Belibi DangIn this report, Mrs Esther Belibi Dang has reviewed the financial crisis of 1929. Then from the International world to her country, Cameroon, she brings her analysis, expertise and personal opinion on 7 principal points on the situation of 2008 which are...

1- A disaster of humanitarian survival
2- The preeminence of a private capitalism form
3- The macroeconomics' renunciation
4- The detachment of the economic thought
5- Who pays skins broken in 2008? And who will pay all the bills?
6- Was the International Monetary Fund (IMF) surprised?
7- A regret for my country, Cameroon.

A beautiful contemporary text!

What Barack Obama And John McCain Didn't Say During The First Presidential Debate

.
Comments

Senator Obama and Senator McCain Body Language"Open hand Supine (or palm up) family gestures, on the other hand, are used in contexts where the speaker is offering, giving or showing something or requesting the reception of something."
- Adam Kendon -

These last days, everything that the candidates are doing, thinking, etc., is taking into consideration. Every detail of their lives, every movement of their bodies are analyzed.

Nothing is left behind.

As Dave Price, a reporter for CBS questionned, what did Barack Obama and John McCain not say during the first presidential debate?

Senator Obama and Senator McCain debate. You are listening their programs.
But... You did not decipher what they were trying to communicate to you and how they felt about each other, about themselves and about their audience. See how body language is even more important than what your mouth says...

I agree with David McNeill of the University of Chicago that "speech and gestures evolved together, and synchronizing the two reinforced the message in the mind of the speaker as well as the listener". The Non-verbal communication is definitly important and powerful going on in both your personnal and professional life.

In addition of the lack of eye contact that Joe Navarros explained in the video, here are 4 other negatives signals:
  • Touching face when speaking

  • Arms folded across your chest

  • Poor pronunciation

  • Swaying back and forth.
He who has eyes to see and ears to hear may convince himself that no mortal can keep a secret.

Which candidate's body language and speech convice you the most at this time? Barack Obama or John McCain?
